Any idea when a new model is coming out? I would like a kukri style blade, pretty much like the 1280 ka-bar, the full tang would make it really unique.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:

Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Perhaps, but still kinda big, have u ever tried a 1280 kukri? Love that blade geometry. How about a Becker BK21?
That might fit the Kukri bill.

April 4, wait for it 😀Nope, I dig my BK4 too much!
I would, but never thought to pick one up on a losing bet.
If you want to send me one, I won't turn it down, lol.
Seems I do have to stick with my bk4, perhaps some slight modifications,in the future, dunno 😀.try to find and buy a classic Machax (not a BK4)
or some of the old Blackjack khukris
or the russian khukri

I would love to see a BK21 scaled down to BK4 size. That would be money easily spent.
AgreedI would love to see a BK21 scaled down to BK4 size. That would be money easily spent.
That would be just perfect!I mentioned something like this in several of these threads.
BK2 style mini kuk. 6-8" long with 1/4" ffg big Becker handles.
Similar to the 1280 as Kentwood mentioned.
It's not about to get it done the way we want to, it's about listening what the guys that use the Becker's knives will love to see on future production runs, at the end we are the ones that enjoy them, regards...It's easy, get that ole forge fired up and pound one out,... if you want it done "right".
Well, I dunno about "easy".![]()
