Any idea when a new model is coming out? I would like a kukri style blade, pretty much like the 1280 ka-bar, the full tang would make it really unique.

How about a Becker BK21?
That might fit the Kukri bill.

:D

Nope, I dig my BK4 too much!
I would, but never thought to pick one up on a losing bet.

If you want to send me one, I won't turn it down, lol.

try to find and buy a classic Machax (not a BK4)

or some of the old Blackjack khukris

or the russian khukri

or ... :D

Seems I do have to stick with my bk4, perhaps some slight modifications,in the future, dunno 😀.

But sticking to the question, I'd like to know if a new model is caming out, haven't hear no news lately?

I mentioned something like this in several of these threads.
BK2 style mini kuk. 6-8" long with 1/4" ffg big Becker handles.
Similar to the 1280 as Kentwood mentioned.

Like a condor mini duku parang with a becker handle

And a 6"-ish blade with curved belly simular to a Esee 6hm, BK 15 without choil

And start making the BK 15 again for $40 each

A set of 6 for slicing steak as all previous models have handled the rest a 15 just an inch longer ok 3/4" but got my last 15 for my set of 6 gonna strip as 4 1st gen and 2 2nd gen, ok throw in a Hickory Slab of block with for room for 12 and I buy another 6,
Love da Kitchen and both 5 and 15 like also, Prep and Finish

It's easy, get that ole forge fired up and pound one out, :) ... if you want it done "right".

Well, I dunno about "easy". :o

I'd love to see a BK14.2 with the handle of the izula 2... That would be THE edc , my holy grail, the perfect goto, always on me, whatever task comes along knife...

It's not about to get it done the way we want to, it's about listening what the guys that use the Becker's knives will love to see on future production runs, at the end we are the ones that enjoy them, regards...
