First post in here now that I have my BH number :) Aside from General, I seem to spend most of my time here. Big surprise, eh?

Any of you all drink root beer? I do the tipsy-making stuff occasionally but still have a soft spot for a really good root beer. Doesn't help that I get all wheezy and can't breathe after barely any booze :( My favorite root beer so far is Virgil's.

Next question is: how many of you all have short swords in your collections? I'm working on making my first (Celtic leafblade style), and it seems there aren't that many. Any other lovers of the leafblade?
 
I am a big fan of the leaf bladed swords Crim, I also like the wasp waisted gladius, and the smatchet, also the spartan laconian style swords, hmm oh yeah I like the hoplite swords too, aaaaaaand the falcatas and kukris ..lol
 
A&W root beer is where its at. Or if your ever drifting through Michigan stop by bills hotdogs. The place is a hole in the wall but the best root beer you'll ever drink...oh and no swords yet. *sad face*

Not a sword guy myself. But I did own a junglas once and stayed at a holiday inn express around the same time, give or take a few months. Does that count?

I'm also pretty fond of this random root beer which doesn't seem to have a brand name beyond "Natural Brew." Pretty big fan of wintergreen in a root beer brew...

Love root beer. Abita makes the best I have had yet. Would love to try some of these others.

sweet - we're expecting snow [showers] tomorrow night in my area. though it's cold enough to snow right now, and it IS raining :)

Dadgum. Bladite jumps at the chance to start these Beckerhead Chat threads. :p
The Chat thread was my brainchild, and I let DerekH start the first one.
Since then, I haven't been able to get one in edgewise. :D
