I was wondering if we were going to see new becker models for 2018?
What about re-edition of existing models with differet steel and/or G10 handles !

Some suggestions:

I know that I am in the minority, perhaps not among Beckerheads, but certainly among the uninitiated masses, but a B-15 in anything, 1095 CroVan, D2, A2, CR-OU8-1-2 ... anything.

A BK-16 Limited Edition in highly polished 1095 CroVan with fancy (wood, faux wood?) handles and a leather sheath.

Larger handles to put an Tweeners.

An "IBT" (In Between Tweener) BK-14 ... basically a 125 - 150% upsized BK-14.

As the 14 is an always will be my favorite EDC, and still the handle is a tad short:
Please make the 14 with a slightly longer handle - (like the izula-II).
Everything else can remain exactly as it is, as steel, grind, shape, is already as perfect as it can be....

That would be the holy grail of all the EDCs out there....

I bought other knives, (Cheaper, more expensive, different Steel etc) but none came even close to this allround (nearly perfect) piece of cutlery which can be used for 99,9% of my daily chores.

So: Please Ka-bar do it, I will buy a dozen.:)

BK15 with these enhancements
1) slightly longer handle with a bk11 type bottle opener
2) semitough grade of stainless (sv35 or something like that) OR a hard alloy like m390. Semi polished finish, no coatings.
3) aggressively thinned out "Fisked" blade with convex edge

That would be my slicey best friend.

Now I need a smoke but don't smoke.

New to the Becker world. I was surprised by the number of discontinued models. I've been hunting some down with success, but would really like a 15 or 17 uncoated or clearcoated like the 32. Whatever happened to that series with the green handle? Did they not sell well, or was there something wrong? I see alot of folks strip the black coating here, it's all new and interesting. I think I bought a bk16 just to strip it and sandblast it, then vinegar patina it, getting sucked into 91bravo posts I think.

Pretty much anything reissued in a 15 or a 17. I've got one 15, so I guess a 17 would be my top choice.

Let's hear it for special edition Becker BK7s and BK9s with Kydex (maybe locking?) sheaths and standard G10 or Micarta handle sets! I'd willingly pay $50-80 more for a knife with those features...
