Has anybody held/used this new hawk yet?How does it stack up against other all steel hawk designs out there?

It shure looks like a copy of the K5 tactical spike hawk.

I have a K5, and these hawks are HEAVY!
They are also indestructable, and more suitable as an TEOTWAWKI hawk then a real fast defensive hawk.
I checked the specs and the only difference i see is the fact that Benchmade uses G10 scales instead of Aluminium Scales.
If you are looking for a hawk capable of chopping thru a brick wall, or chop an entry into an airplane this hawk is perfect.
If you need a fast defensive hawk like an ATC look elswhere.

I would be more likely to look at something from Justin Gingrich than to shell out the money for that, even though I am an admitted BM fan. I'm also not sure making the whole thing out of 1095 gives you the best advantages from a steel perspective. I have however not used one or held one yet, it just doesn't do it for me on paper.
