My 940-1 with it's Original clip .... U.S.A

Take a look at the top 4 individual clips - U.S.A.
Bottom 4 - U.S.A no dot after the A. Which one do you have?

I still got the old one... they make this for deep carry now too??
 
This one was changed.

The deep carry clips I know of include the Benchmade logo only.......

Anyone else have the new clips yet?
 
I'm glad they are putting USA on them again. There was a period where some of the clips only said Benchmade.
 
yep. can't seem to get worked up about a dot or 3 issue, but found it interesting a new forum account starting a thread with a bunch of clips with no knives attached is all.

Agree. WHen I think redesign, I think all new design. New stamping is a different thing entirely.
 
My 940-1 has no dot after the A. My 556 Mini Grip and 558 Ritter Mini (m390) both have clips without USA at all. Ritter was ordered from Knifeworks at the end of November, the other two were bought online from other vendors. I have an unpainted clip for my 940-1 in the mail from BM and frankly could care less whether or not it has the third dot or not but I do like having USA on there.

Yes. I replaced mine with one. Simply contact Benchmade and they'll send one free. It's the same one on the new g10 Griptilian model.
 
One day BM will stop giving out free clips like suckers at the bank... and we will know why. I broke a 940-1 clip, they sent a new one. It was lose and they told me to bend it, it broke. I felt so greedy asking for two on the next shipment.
