New Benchmade

I just visited the Benchmade website, and found a nice little gem of a knife, the 921 Double Vision.

This thing looks awesome. It's got two blades, one of S-30v :D :D and the other of 440c. Plus it's got the axis lock on the main blade (slip joint on the other). I hope the people at Blade today will get some pictures of this knife. I can't wait till tomorrow when I can get a look at it for myself.
 
Very nice! Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure over the weekend there will be some interesting info coming our way from Atlanta.:D

Benchmade is supposed to be debuting no less than 10 new knives at the Blade Show. I hope we see pics soon.

I also hope we see an axis AFCK with a satin S30V blade. :D
 
That looks like a winner. Osborne and Benchmade make an awesome team for sure!
 
Nice looking knife. I can't wait to see what else debuts.

I just saw that on the BM site. Looks pretty sweet. I really like the pocket clip. I just wonder why they chose two different blade steels. I found that kind of peculiar.

Now this...this is not a good thing...for my wallet that is!

Man, it had to be wharncliffish, it is a tad long on the blade though...

We do need to see this other blade, the slipjoint side, what blade style is that?

Gary, there is a picture in this month's BLADE magazine of that knife with both blades open. It looks to me like the small slipjoint blade is also a wharncliffe, although narrower, much narrower.
 
Hey Rock,
When you say this months, is that the June issue, or the one that is on the stands now, or the one about to hit??? I went through my July issue pretty good and did not see it.

OUCH, that 690 with the full CF scales is VERY cool. May need one of those also!!

Thanks Rock, I don't get the Blade Magazine, subscription ran out a long time ago...had me wanting too many things! Advertising...go figure! :D

So if some one has the knife and can take a pic or do a scan of the image from Blade, post it here or send it to me and I'll post it on this thread...

JUST got my Osborne 940 back, sure missed that Axis lock! And now they go and do something like this! ;)

Yeah, I just went through my July issue and couldn't find it either--he probably meant the August issue--I hate the fact that my subscription always comes weeks after they hit the newsstands...

I got to handle the 921 at the Blade Show today, and man is it sweet. It fits my hand like a glove and has a really nice clip. I will definitely have to get one now that I've seen it in person. The representative from Benchmade said they would be going into production in a month or two.
 
I subscribe to BLADE and just got it earlier this week. It should be the one that is on the stands now. It is marked as the August 2002 issue. It has a big John Fitch knife on the front, called the HOG BODY.

I can't wait for this puppy (the Benchmade) to come out. I had just about bought everything that I wanted. ;)

Sorry Gary, I don't have a scanner.... :(
