I literally, just returned home from a FTF transaction, with new BF Member: KVAS. I wish every transaction was this easy!
KVAS (Rich), posted in an older sales thread that I had pretty much forgotten about, interested in my Spyderco Spyderfly. A few visitor messages, & friend request later, we were in contact, talking on the phone. It turns out, Rich is stationed at the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base, just about 8 miles North of me, in Oceanside, CA.
Rich wanted to meet immediately, so we agreed to meet 45 minutes later, in front of Macy's at the Carlsbad mall. It was my honor, to meet Rich, shake his hand, & personally thank him, & his two buddies, for their service to our Country.
Meeting Rich, in person, seeing his excitement as we discussed knives, & watching him flip my virgin Spyderfly VG-10, made me realize, that this balisong, was going to the right person! This was definitely, one of those feel good transactions, that make BladeForums, the great forum that it is!
