New BG-42 Military

Hi Guys,
I just got one of the sprint run BG-42 Millies, Wow this thing is huge!!!
I am used to the smaller Spydies. The amazing thing is how light it in spite of it's size. I know I must seem pretty green to all of you guys who are old hat with this knife. My question is to you Military owners: Do any of you EDC it? I had this thing in my pocket all day and I kept forgetting how big it was because I couldn't feel it, but when I pulled it out I was like "Whoa" Thanks for your time.
Sal, Thanks for bringing this knife out with this steel, I have always wanted to a Military and I love BG-42!!
 
You may now think I am nuts. :D

I have been carrying three of them; BG-42, CPM D2, and 440V, just to compare the steels.
 
If you dont mind me butting in, where do you rank the D2 model. I've seen a few for sale at a reasonable price and am torn. Cheers.

I carry it everyday clipless in the RF pocket or behind my wallet. Excellent knife.
 
The Millie is my current EDC, funny how it no longer looks or feels as large as it did when I first acquired it.
 
I agree with Vivi–it carries well loose in the pocket, and the length of the grip, weight and flatness are key. The knife tends to remain vertical. I don't know of another knife that works well carried that way. It's really a unique folder. An excellent knife!
I've got the BG-42 as well.

ha ha I forget where I am- This IS bladeforums... I must confess that
I slept with the knife under my pillow last night. Now it makes the other Spydies seem oddly small instead of the Millie seeming oddly large. Amazing what a little QT will do.
 
Carry it everyday - thought everybody carries their favorite. I was thinking about the CIVILIAN on the other side pocket when it arrives.

MILLIE Sleeping: it's on the clothes rack facing me when I HOP out. Again on the right side pocket. I even shined up the blade with BLUE MAGIC! MUST Miss not polishing those BLACK shoes?
 
been EDC one for about 3 years now, at this time I am EDC the D2 version.

Great knife in all versions, glad you found your way to the Millie Path.

I almost fell asleep with mine open once. that was a scary moment realizing that if I did fall asleep I might have found it stuck in my arm or something when I woke up.

I have a BG-42 version, but it's so nice I can't bring myself to EDC it. I will carry the CPM D-2 version though.
Can't wait for the CPM S90V Mili either.
