New BK 11's out.

Me too, I wish I could snatch up a few of those becker blanks on Ebay, several on there now for those when $$ to spend.

I agree with williams. The price is a little too high for me on the laminated one, I will wait for the 1095 version.

I wonder how hard the White Steel is compared to the outer 410 stainless. Usually it is in the low 60's. I'd like to try this one out. If done properly it would hold an edge longer than 1095.

Is it actually laminated? I thought it was kinda like the Kershaws , but I could very easily be wrong.

Wow, I was planning on getting on of these but thats a bit pricey. I hope the 1095 will be about half that.

What happened to affordable. I was hoping that KaBar would keep the tradition of a quality knife at reachable prices.

Hopefully this is just to launch the line and they come down.

Is that the same White Steel (Hitachi?) that's commonly used in Japanese chisels and plane blades? If so, it could have great edge retention but brittleness can be a possibility. If it's in the high 50's like it said, it should be fine.
