Since they're going to stop production on the 4, I thought I'd get another while the getting is good. Got a hold of Dex, and ordered another from him. I intended it for me, but the wife was asking me a few weeks ago about getting her a new machete, so I gave her this one. Her first full sized Becker. She has the 14, and the 15. I told her, of course, if anything should happen to mine, I was taking hers, haha. Sorry about the suck butt photos.

She's pretty excited about using it this weekend.

Thanks man. I'm very fortunate that the wife loves the great outdoors as much as I do, and, likes knives to boot.

I was thinking more along the lines of dueling banjos, like a little chopping competition with BK4s. Never good to fight with the wife, especially with weapons, friendly competition ain't bad though.:)

I've really been thinking about getting another.......might just have to pull the trigger
 
i just picked up a slightly used BK4 from a friend thats leaving the country today .. can't wait to put it to action soon.

She gets to look at mine, from a distance, haha. She's never used mine, she has her own. She has a BK4, BK14, BK15, Breeden necker, T.M.Hunt Hornet, Mora Companion, and a Condor Bushcrafter.

That's funny. I did the exact same thing when word came out about the 4 being discontinued. Except for the giving your wife the knife part. I stashed my new Dex-supplied BK4 in the closet just in case the apocalypse happens and a bolt of lightning melts my first one. My wife can use one of my machetes from the shed.
