New BlackJack Classic knives - are they good?

I have been wanting a model 14 halo attack for years and ordered on through a local dealer Monday, can't wait for it to be here

I don't think of the Blackjack knives as "hard use" due to the stick tang (it's a 'bolt knife').

I have to correct myself here, after learning more about this.

The Blackjack Model 14 has a Mortise Tang, not a stick tang with the bolt at the end. From the back of the knife, you can see the thick tang extend mostly into the handle, it just doesn't go all the way through the front. There is a channel cut into a solid chunk of micarta, then it is epoxied and bolted to the tang.

I will be buying a Model 14 soon, with no reservations about it's toughness.
