New blade?

I just received a CS american lawman, I like the overall design of the knife but I'm not overly impressed with the blade steel. Though AUS8 is not bad it is a bit of a down grade from the S30V I normally carry. I'm thinking of getting a new blade made for it to the exact specs just in the steel of my choice.

I was thinking;
CPM-S90V
CPM-S110V
CPM-M4
52100

The blade only needs to be made and ground, the heat treat is already covered by someone else.

So my question to you is, who can do it?

You may have a problem with makers not wanting to do only part of the process. I know that personally I would not grind a blade and register it under my name without also doing the heat treat. Not to mention it doesn't make sense from a business standpoint since there is grinding/sanding to be done before and after heat treating, so it only really adds shipping cost.

I've gotten similar projects done here... but it was done by friends who were makers... Good luck!

I was thinking that might be a issue so if said maker wants to do it all that's fine, I just need to find someone willing too do the work.

Well looks like I'll be taking on this project myself, so if I bought the steel and wanted to get its basic shape cut what would be the better way... laser or water jet?
