 Thanks T.....You know your little NWA pic...I have a pair of the NWA forum blades, well I also ordered the chopper and necker with Green micarta to match my BF NWA's...I am in no rush and I know Nick is a busy bee so I am sure I'll have them in 8-12 months..but that is no problem... and I blame you :D;):p

Your a madman Tony, congrats on all the wicked hardware.

That chopweiler / warden sheath looks awesome. I have a trade offer in to try and acquire those exact blades.

As you know I've gotten a bunch of different knives lately, but one of my NWA's is always with me.

I wouldn't mind having that big Mistress. I had a straight handled one when they first came out back in '96 that was a real nice chopper. I still kick myself for selling that one. :grumpy:

 a straight handle one is expensive...now anyways....yeah,I love those NWA blades...

I think the 1st time I saw the Busse name was in a Shom-tec catalog,I believe early 2000? I thought ,dayum, those are expensive knives...now look at me....

I still have the Tactical Knives article from 1995 where I first read about Busses. Called up, talked to Jerry on the phone and ordered the Steel Heart. Then the Battle Mistress came out and I ordered one of those and a Mean Street to go with it. Then an original Badger Attack. They were all great users, but they became so valuable I stopped using them and decided to sell. But I wish I wouldn't have.

The fear I have with purchasing a Busse is the same fear I have about purchasing any hyperexpensive knife. I don't want to spend all that money on INFI steel and everything only to realize that it's not cool enough to wrrant the price for my modest budget and it won't be any more thrilling to me than the R.A.T. knife I already have and love. For that kind of money, I almost want it to blow my mind to the point that I don't even want to carry anything else.

When I decided to build my own .45 with everything I wanted in it, I had that fear. Luckily, it turned out just like i thought and it made me never want to carry any other sidearm again. The only reason I ever switch it out is if I'm going somewhere where I know there's little chance of needing it AND there will be sheeple there that can directly effect my relationship (such as my wife's grandmother... what an anti-gun actibitch), in which case I'll go with a compact. That's the feeling I would want from spending that kind of cheddar on a Busse. Maybe when I handle one at the Blade show I'll be mind blown enough to pick one up.

I own Becker ,RAT,Swamprat,Scrapyard,Busse,Bark river, and others and I keep a RAT7 in my truck,I EDC a RC3, the Busse Family blades are the Bees knees but I still love my RC blades just as much....Rat Cutlery has just as good Warranty and easliy replaced no secondary mark up and can be easily replaced....Jeff and gang are great, but like in life a lil' variety is good and outta all the busse family blades I own the Chopweiler is my Favorite...

 Dude, I have been saving for the FFFBM for months and I could have purchased one slightly cheaper but it was not the one I was after...;)

I can definitely understand that. Would be much the same as when I was saving up for my HK91. I could have easily picked up something else that would have been damn good, but I wanted an HK91, so that's what I got.
