I don't have one ... but I gotta get one!
It's giving me the shakes ...!
Andy ... PLEASE tell me what body part I have to send you to get one of these new sheaths.
Here's a picture of the new sheath if you guys want to see it ...
Remember, it's not my fault if you can't sleep at night because of the cravings! http://www.ida.net/users/mlodzik/busse1.jpg

Remember ... you were warned!

Yours in nuclear sheath addiction

Mike...before we move forward you should know what is behind door #2

The sheath you have pictured is being shipped with the last of the straight handled Battle Mistress Back Orders...call it an interim cordura sheath

Sit tight for the new cordura sheath that will be shipping with the E handles!!!!

VERY similar to the one pictured, but even cooler cosmetically!!! I believe that all black one is for the last of the straight handled orders only.

Andy, I hope the new one is different. The one in the picture looks like it needs to have a larger belt loop. I want to put mine on my Bianchi Nylon Sam Brown belt which is at least 2" wide and ~3/16" thick.

In anticipation of a nuclear experience.

Yes....the new ones will fit the straight handled ones....and the belt loop is 2.5", so it will fit a duty belt just fine.

I just recieved my old school Battle Mistress from Andy today and the sheath that came with it is very cool, though it does rattle around a bit. The lining appears to be black poly pipe (similar to that used in irrigation equip.- very innovative and very durable IMHO. Kydex would be nicer, but this should work just fine) so it should be very easy to remove and heat up and compress slightly. Reinsertion will require glue to retain the liner in the cordura. The pocket on the sheath should easily fit a multi-tool and/or small ceramic stone, or a smaller knife (Police Recruit

), or a Zippo, or whatever you can think of. It is very roomy. I would rate the construction very similar to that of Eagle or Blackhawk. There is no leg strap which would be nice, but that's an easy fix.
