New BM with 3" Blade and Clip??

"Jeepers Mr. Kent", it's alive! I scrolled by it twice before I realized it was more than just speculation.
Ditto here penguin_2000, this one's it, fin, fini, done. (long pause) We are so busted.

I love the pocket clip idea, however, I wish that it would also come with a sheath.
 
Yeah I did hear about the 31, but I didn't think it would pop up this quickly. I guess all this noise we are making is being heard :cool: ..!

Just joking, AA1. As Dawkind and penguin said, we say "no more", but if one were to watch our doorsteps for the brown truck, our claims of "no more" would prove to be false. What surprised several of us is that we are accustomed to hearing about a new offering for quite a while before it becomes reality. The 31, however, will be here before Christmas.
 
Here's my question/worry...

Since in some states, pocket-carry is illegal, only belt-sheath, will it still come with a sheath?

BTW, I posed the same question to Sal Glesser, for the same reason... He said the current plan on the Spyder-bali is to have a removable clip on theirs... No word on whether it'll have a sheath, though.

The appearance of the UPS truck is evidence we had no intention of not buying any more balisongs, thus we are "busted" by the evidence. "Jeepers Mr. Kent" was a phrase from a 50's tv show (Superman). I don't get all the channels, so I don't know whether or not it exists in re-runs. Cub reporter Jimmy Olson not infrequently used the phrase when speaking to Clark Kent, Superman's alter ego of sorts.

I just noticed your name is Kent, you are not the Kent in question.
 
This may be a stupid question, but i just wanted to make sure:

Will the 31 come with all the baisic features of the previous modeals (hex pins/latch gate)? The advertisement on the order page says it's very fast with latch drops :). ANyway, i cant wait to take one backpacking with it's pocket clip. I'm not sure what the knife laws in Georgia are, but i *think* it says that all locking blades 4+ inches in length are illegal. With any luck the 31 will be legal for pocket carry due to it's 3-in. blade length. If it turns out good, it may turn out to be my first Benchmade.

I thought pocket carry was legal. What states is it illegal?
 
It's thought of the same as an auto in many/most states. State by state is around here somewhere, anyone?
