Hello my name is Robert Alderman, I am the 4th generation of blacksmiths in my family, and I learned my knife-making skills from Steve Mullins, a well known knife-maker.
Many of my blades are seen in many major motion pictures a few notable movies such as Dances with Wolves and Far and Away.
I am most well known for my reproductions and knives based on the technology and art of the mountain man period, pre 1840. I have an extensive knowledge of the patterns and constructions methods of the period. Further, I can make a knife or razor look as though it had been made many years ago.
This razor here has been hand forged and created from one of my many ancient files. This blade features a slight hollow grind and makes for a great daily shaver.
