Blade Mag has a new Chad Los Banos folder in the new issue anybody know when it is going to be released?, There was nothing about it on the Boker USA website. looks like a spearpoint blase with g-10 scales and about 5" closed

What model number or name did Blade use?
As far as I remember, the only CLB in the new Blade was the review done on the M-Type, by Kim Breed, and we have had that out for years.
Gimme a little more info, and I'll tell you what I can.

Mahalo for your interest!

I *THINK* you are talking about the M-TYPE, and TJT is correct...it has been out for years now...but the funny thing is, well, it ain't really funny but:

Not too many people know this folder as well as the HYPER even exist???

Perhaps it's time to run some ads, eh Terry?

God bless and mahalo!

Well, I know the M-Type exists. :)

It can run with the big dogs. I rotate it with my Spydie Military and Chinook. It is one big, tough knife that slices like a razor and washes up quickly and cleanly, so it works well for food prep also.

Not only does it exist but it has cut, chopped, sliced, peeled, pried (lightly of course), bored and whittled everything from the kitchen, to the garage, to the farm.

Its a true "user" folder that's well designed and you can feel confident in at a price point that's too good to be true, I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone the M-Type.

Pretty much all of my students carry one as well.

The M-Type rocks, though I'm particularly fond of the Trance.

Mahalo guys,

Really, thank you...and Amigo, please stop rubbing in that Springfield of yours!!!:p

Seriously though, I find it odd how many folks had no clue about the HYPER and the M-TYPE? Perhaps as I mentioned earlier...some ad space is in order showing ALL the Boker Plus/CLB line?

I remember an old Boker ad for a Bud Nealy knife, and it said, something like, "Corkscrew and tweezers not included...ever." Those were great ads, and those were the days...

Man I REALLY feel 40 now.:o

God bless and ENJOY that M!!!

It does seem odd because the M-Type was the first CLB knife that I bought. My Trance and Hyper are still my most EDC'd knives. Light, compact, and durable. What's not to love?

Thanks again you guys...good seeing you zen' bro!

God bless and a Drop Point M-TYPE anyone?

Well Amigo, with the G4 coming out, a wharnie blade would conflict in a M...however, a HYPER or TRANCE Wharnie OTOH...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

God bless and mahalo much Amigo!:)

An even more exciting thought is the MPT with a Wharnie Blade...now that would make it into my SD EDC Rotation on a permanent basis;) Doc:D
