New Boker.

The design goes back to a pattern which was found in our 1906 US catalogue, and we all liked it pretty much here at Boker, so we made that new release in 2018.
We had no historical knife of that anymore, so we had to build it completely new from the scratch.

Here´s the old drawing from the 1906 catalogue:

Nice work. It doesn’t look like the new version got that nice swedge like the old drawing. That’s a shame, unless the new pics just don’t show it.

A nice take on the way mid-lock knives were designed at the turn of the 20th century, always with an eye to actually carrying in a pocket. In size and function, it looks like a good response to the wooden handled versions of the Mercator recently introduced by Otter-messer.

Yes, that swedge is pretty darn choice. I do like the looks of this knife, tho! Of course the vintage shield looks better to my eye, but the new one isn't too terrible. Hopefully the thing won't be overly pricey.

Neat, the precursor to the Buck 110?
Lockbacks are older than I thought.

I am in for one if the price is not too high once it hits the market.

I just got the "in-stock" heads-up, and I have to say, the price is making me a little balky.

I think I will have to wait for some positive feedback, or at least some kind of video review to push me into one.

That's too steep for me. I was hoping for $100 or less.
That's been my initial reaction as well. I am simultaneously trying to talk myself in to, and out of, this purchase. I bet if I could handle one, I would know for sure one way or the other.

The price does not much exceed a non-stainless, non-lockback Northwoods knife. If the quality and fit and finish are there they might sell a few. Nice looking knife.
