That model was my first purchase from Bryan - a pathfinder in orange G10. His convex on that one looks awesome. The one area where I noticed he made remarkable improvements in his knives, apart from the variety of models now being offered, is the sharpness of the edge they are now supplied with. Bryan's convex edges are now just outstanding!

I hope you enjoy it. It is a great knife for its ergonomics.

kgd, I think you are to blame for getting me hooked on this one.:) I believe yours was the first one I saw, The design really caught my eye and when you get my age you appreciate that high Vis handle.:D I should have it just in time for my May camping trip. Not that I am short of knives but it's always nice to have a real fresh one. The handle might clash with my Red JK hatchet.

My 4" Pathfinder was my first (and still my favorite) knife from Bryan. Enjoy!

Hi all,

Thanks for the very nice comments on Jim's knife and the looks of the edge.

Jim I think you are right that red handled axe you should leave home and get this hatchet with Orange G-10 scales and white liners like your knife has.
It is naked now but sunday will get the handles put on it. I could ship it out with your knife ;) LOL.

It has the same features as my hatchet in the middle but with a little longer face on it and it has a little indentation on the back where my thumb or your thumb LOL could go for chocking up on it for finer carving.

In this pic I put my hatchet on top of the handless one to show the difference.

Thanks again for the kind comments you guys on Jim's knife.

kgd I have gotten a new compound for putting on the final polish and it seems to me to be even better than the compound I was using. I was so impressed with it after I got it and tried out on my the personal knife I was carrying for the day, that I went in the house and got my knives that I made for the kitchen and sharpened them up. This new compound is awesome.
So maybe on your next knife you will get to see what that like. LOL

Take care all,

Bryan

My mind says yes but my wallet says no:D But the wheels are turning;) Can;t wait to give it a whirl. (Not throwing though)

I got a Breeden CSK not too long ago and I like it!
I haven't done much with it, we've been in training for the upcoming deployment.
But I have used it in the kitchen and it excells at that, I diced onions faster than my wife the other day.
We're camping this weekend so hopefully it'll start seeing some real use.
I'll try to post some pics after the weekend.

LOL I know what you mean Jim. I got so many things I want to do but most take money LOL. dog gone it. I know it is a sin to throw your knife but I was throwing a 5" kelly knife around and got to were I could stick it, Several times in a row LOL.

Hi ammohouse I was wondering if you were using your knife. When do you leave for the sandi areas of the world?

Mistwalker thanks, I ya started on that project;).

Take care all,

Bryan

Congrats 'Ol Bud on the Breeden knife . You will love the Path Finder, mine has a 7" blade & is Laser Sharp ;) The handles on these knives are Awsome

Jim,

My 4" Pathfinder with olive green canvas micarta scales is my favorite field knife. It's just the right size, and will perform any task I ask of it. Mine is of 1/8" steel. Congratulations on one fine field knife!

And AMMOHOUSE, Good Hunting and God Bless you in your upcoming deployment. (from an old AC-130H Spectre Gunship Sensor Operator...who also spent most of the past 4 years in the sandy areas of the world)
