New Brute question

Could I get them to do 1 as a full spine swedgeless brute Moose ? As a custom order ? ..lol
Less Grinding = less work right ?

sure :) got $5000 for a prototype? ;)

find a Brute blank :) have a maker fix it for you ;)

or get someone that makes similar knives do a one off for you at say, $300-400? Siegle comes to mind. Fiddleback? a few others :>

If it is being delayed to be made in the US of A, I am all for it. I like lower prices as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't mind one bit paying a little more for USA. Of course, even if it was in Taiwan I would still buy one. I've liked the look ever since I first saw one.

The thing looks pretty sweet, but I think I'll have a hard time financing one if they are $130...

Anything thoughts on how they compare to a BK9?

$130 is steep but not insurmountable. I shall by God have me one of those. Helitywhoop!

The #9 is 3/16" thick while Ye Olde #1 is a full 1/4" thick. Hence the name "Brute" muahaha. I can't wait.

actually, the brute and patrol machete and machax and tweeners and all things brute should be made in the usa. will have to update the faq to reflect that. generally 1095cv.

nobody knows prices until they're ready. we can speculate, but that's all that would be...

i'm told the new brute and patrol machete will be different, not exavt copies. improved...

Are we allowed to know what improvements?
I'm with clich in welcoming the heavier blade.

YEE HAW YEAH BUDDY !! Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank YOU ETHAN !!

$130 is a steep price.
But considering its US made, that price is acceptable. Made overseas at that kind of price, hell no is my answer.
I want a brute bad and was told over and over, get over it , read my lips, they will never be made again.
Well it seems they will be made again and in the US. Whats not to like.
I hope the sheath is not like the bk9.
Thanks for making this happen.

I had a hard time paying $150 for the BK-10. For the size of the knife and what I'd use it for, just couldnt bring myself to do it. (I missed the beckerhead special, I know, I suck)

The Brute on the other hand, for such a substantial chopper that size, $130 seems reasonable and I cant wait to see it! I was actually afraid the price was going to move beyond the $200 mark, so I am happy and eagerly waiting for its release!
