New Buck 303 w/ old 703

After going around and around trying to decide between a 301, 303 or a Case medium stockman I decided on the 303. I'm already shopping for the other two, but here are some pictures of my new 303 together with an old 703. Both are great knives. I used to alternate between the 703 and a Case mini copperlock as edc knives.

The new 303 has the Dyamondwood handles. As is typical of Buck knives, it was razor sharp. Seems like a tough knife with excellent F&F.

The 303 is a very convenient little knife that packs quite a lot into its small size. (My thanks to 300Bucks for sending me one to be schooled on. )

I like it for taking to town so as not to shock anyone at the grocery or library or on those inclement weather days (which we have quite a few of). :thumbup:

Good choices on all your selections imho.

The 303 is a very nice knife. I also like the little leather pouch that it comes with.

I have a 303 coming my way in the mail, courtesy of a popular online auction site. I never realized how low the sheepsfoot blade sits. :thumbup: That's a feature I think I'll really like, as filing down the kick on the sheepsfoot blade so it'll sit lower when closed is one of the first things I usually do when I get a new stockman.

It's a great knife. Carries well and plenty strong enough for any normal edc task. I'm sure you'll like it.

Regarding the sheepsfoot blade; I hadn't thought of taking a file to it, but I've got a Queen stockman and it's really annoying how that blade protrudes. The 303 and 703 are much better.
