New Buck, Bantam 285

When I bought the white one there was one box of white and maybe 2.5 boxes of orange. I stopped by this morning on the way to work and there was a half box of orange left. I grabbed two. One for me and one for my son.

They are selling fast but there are still some available. Check your local store.
 
I bought the last White/Brown Head Hunterz Camo one, today, at my local Wal-mart along with 500rnds. WWB .45 and 500rnds. TUL .223, milk, orange juice, Cuties, and bread!!!:D. My first impression is that this is a lot of knife for the money.
 
anyone have an extra one in orange with the antlers and skull that they'd sell or know where to get one online? i cant find them anywhere other than on this forum and youtube :(

I think wallyworld was the only place that had them. But don't worry they are in the new buck catalog, even a pink one for the ladies.
 
I would be all over these Bantams if their handles were FRN, instead of plastic. I guess you probably couldn't get the pretty colors in FRN, but I like it's greater dimensional stability.
 
I bought 1 for my grandson or his birthday, ( he just turned 2), I didn't notice the skull but I will check that out. I gave him a Buck knife on the day that he was born, so I figured that I would give him a Buck knife for each birthday.

Went looking for the white version with the head hunterz pattern yesterday-went to two different stores, one never has had a good selection, but the other is out in the country and usually good for full selection-came up with a big goose egg at both. They still on the shelves in other areas or were they Christmas only and when they are gone, theyre gone?
 
I never found one at any of the "marts" either. The only one I found around here was the orange one. I did just pick one up off the bay as part of a package deal of five Bucks.

The white version is one of the new ones shown in the 2013 catalog, so they will be available at some point this year I'm sure.
 
The white ones were released for XMASS only in Walmarts, but will be available this year as a regular stock item, or that's what someone at Buck told me when I called to order some other knives and asked about them.

Well guys I copied Bears pic but this is the knife I've been carrying for many months now. Have to say it is just about the perfect carry knife. If you haven't tried it you should. I've become a huge fan of 420HC also. I had a little phase were I thought I wanted to be a steel snob...all done with that. Buck 420HC and S30V covers all the uses I have for a knife steel.
