NEW Buck Knife Give-a-way

ya knows i would never head in da dang woods with out a buck on me ..
shoot i recalls us guys in school compairing knives and seeing who had the sharper edge..
now if ya's get cought in school grounds with a nail clipper with a nail file ..
dey calls da police and you gets cufed and stuffed ... but
bullies still seem to get away with most every thing ...

I dropped my daughter off at a friends house with the understanding that she would be walking home when she was finished doing homework. As we pulled up into the drive way of her friends house, I asked her if she had her knife. She replied no she left it at home. I told her to take mine.
While on her way home a man jumped out of the brush and grabbed her from behind, while attempting to scream and being drug backward, she took the Vantage out of her pocket and thrust it into the thigh of her attacker. When he jumped she was able to break free and run to a near by house for help. Although he was never caught and I lost my Vantage I still have my daughter. I'm glad I had my Buck when My daughter didn't have hers. She never leaves home without it now...

There I was crouched in a dry irrigation ditch watching a trophy buck antelope. Suddenly he started running right at me. I couldn't get my rifle into position for a shot, but as he leaped over the ditch I held my knife up and it made a clean cut all the way along him. When I walked over to him, field dressing was half done. Boy am I glad I had my Buck knife handy.

While out catfishing one night my troll motor got stuck up in a big group of lilly pads. As I was trying to clear them away I fell overboard. My feet got wrapped up in the pads and weeds in the water, but luckily I had my Buck 119 on my hip. I was able to pulkl it out and duck under water and cut the pads loose.

it is NEVER luck that you have a Buck Knife on you !
it is as naturnal as putting your pants on in the morning..
there might be places you are not alowed to have it tho...

I was glad I had my Buck on the day..." I met a Jewess Princess "It was a wonderful week but the bill collectors were calling every day but I turned the corner and there she was and -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------then it was just 6 days till I fully recovered, glad my Buck was sharp!

This summer, I was really glad to have my Buck Trio.

My boys had apple juice at Burger King and the straws were too long.

Not life threatening, but the Buck did help me avoid drama! :)

yep bucks at work or play are very usefull!
I jest know there are more stories out there of folks that
were glad they had their buck !
so come on and tickle the key board keys a little and tell us about them !

Last week my grandfather and I went target shooting, and we brought his old twelve gauge. We loaded it up and went shooting, when he pulled out some buck shot and loaded it up into it. After the first round we couldnt get the shell out, turns out he loaded some 3 inch shells into a 2 3/4 inch shotgun. I pulled out my old vantage and dug that damn shell out of the chamber and two minutes later we were blasting away again.

Needed to cut a dangling rigid mud flap off the work truck last summer...it was digging into the tire and actually removing rubber...glad i had my buck, we were in the middle of nowhere. :)

 I am glad I had my Buck when my wife and I were at the beach and she decided to collect bivalve molluscs stuck to the rocks (this was in Samoa). Without telling me what she was going to use the knife for, she borrowed my Bucklite II folding knife and harvested these Polynesian delicacies. I won't say this was a good idea, as a piece of the tip was broken off. While not happy, I was able to grind the tip with a grinding wheel and made it functional again.

Yes, the knife was modified but it continued to serve me well. In fact, the blade was just a little bit shorter and more acceptable to some who saw a science teacher performing routine tasks during field trips. I kept and used the knife for about five more years, until nearly constant use finally caused to back spring to break.

I contacted Buck and checked on repairs. Buck representatives told me to send it in. Because the model had been discontinued, they could not repair it. To my surprise, I was sent a new knife similar in size and just as useful. This time, though, I will make my wife promise not to pry bivalves off rocks.
