Just a couple ugly cell phone pics, but check it out, 420HC Odyssey Paperstone! What do you guys think?

Did you guys see/buy them at your local store?

Mine doesn't stock any Buck stuff now, will have to check some others in the area if it's a store front only deal.

How much are they costing?

IIRC, my local WM had them for $19.99.

I actually held one, nice knife, but the pocket clip isn't reversible for a southpaw. :(
 
What do I think? I think your cell phone pix looks better than mine!

I'll have to check out the nearest Wally when I go to that town this coming Monday. Thanks for the heads up and for posting the pix.
 
I like it alot, I will own one this weekend if I can find it. The Odessys is very under rated knife in my opinion.

I called the store and they have 2 Buck 181 Ecolite Odysseys on hand.

The price they quoted is $34.97 ea. Is this the price you paid, Marlinaholic?
 
I tried 3 different Wal-Marts since Thursday with no luck, I may have to hit some of the small town Wal-Marts when I go hunting in October.

I checked several waly's in my area, and could not find any. The employee's where of no help either. Great looking knife in my opinon. Would love to have one, or two, maybe some day. HL
 
I do not believe that all stores carry them. I think they are only in 'rural' stores, whatever that means

It means stores where the customers still expect to buy knives, fishing tackle, shotguns in addition to the cheap ass cloths from china their selling.:D
 
I know what you mean Flat, in the stores around me I am excited just to find an employee in the sportinggoods area. Their knife display in most of the stores is now on peg hooks, some behind locked glass doors. HL

There's nothing like the old fashioned sporting goods stores like the ones I used to love to go to when I was a kid. Not very many around any more.
 
guys that were able to get one what is the model number or sku# and I will see if they can order me one. I have a lot of stores that sell guns and knives. Maybe they can order one.
