New Buck/ Strider Fixed Blades?

Is there any word on the new Buck/ Strider fixed blades that are supposed to be coming out?
 
Still finalizing some things. Should be in the January catalog. Here is the basics.

Full size fixed blades, about 6" of edge and about 12" overall.

Kydex sheath

Will let you know when I have some more info.

Josh you're killing me/us!!

We need to get you a scanner for Christmas.
Quite a while ago there was a picture of a bunch of fixed blade protos up here. No official comment from Buck.
I thought several of them looked pretty cool.
Please elucidate some hint of blade shape... por Favor??

If I was to quess I'd say a spear point and a tanto???...

In that case please allow that serrations have their place but 8 out of 10 knife nuts prefer their knives to have no teeth.

I will go back to anxiously awaiting.
Oh, and meantime I'll be carving rediculously large Bowie knives out of quarter inch O1!!

About serrations,

I know the majority of forumites don't like them, but the market does. Most government specs call for at least a partial serration. Whenever I have to include them I make sure there is plenty of plain edge to work with.

Hopefully we can have both, but we'll see.

That the government requires serrations should be your first clue to their worth and necessity. What kind of material will those 6"(!?) handles be made of?
