New buschraft knife sheath

I have just finished a sheath for my buschraft knife.
I choose a different colored belt loop for it.

Two questions:

1) Did you use a post on the dangler? Not a snap or a chicago screw? And then a belt loop keeper? NICE!

2) Did you simply use a bone folder to make the line in the leather around the handle?

1/ Here's a photo about the back side.
I used rivets (It was simpler and suitable for me )

Hello Raga -

I think your sheath is great. It has both clean modern lines, but the look of an older functionality about it. As you can tell, I am new to the Bushcraft knives/sheaths, particularly the dangler sheaths. I've purchased a few nice examples from the Forum, including one without a sheath. This knife has a 3/16 inch, convex ground, spear point blade and an hour-glass shaped handle. OAL is 9 1/4 inches; blade is 4 1/2 inches; handle is 4 3/4 inches. Compared to a couple of 1/8" Bushcrafts I have, this knife seems a bit heavier. I would like to purchase one of your sheaths like the one pictured, if the dangle carry would be strong enough. And so, I ask your opinion. Also -Can you share the dimensions of the knife for which you made the sheath? Can you include the thickness of the blade stock and the the thickness of the handle/grip, at its thickest?
