**New Bushcrafts - (3rd run)

All this would most likely have been better said in a PM or email........

That says it all!!

Yeah it does pal... I already said that.

However.... nobody forced you to read it....
if you did read it .... that was your choice.

You could have avoided this ... ... by just saying no to reading it.

Simple solution..........

I edited my post and took this........out. I will take your advice in the future. Thanks

No problem "chickenplucker", I went back and edited my factual post also with a warning at the beginning that it is long and boring .....cause it is.
I just want some answers and at the time I felt that was the best way to have a chance at getting them.

Hey Dan, could you possibly tell me exactly how much bigger you made the guard on this one? i want to know because i am having a sheath made and want to make sure it will fit. it is a sheath for the one with the smaller guard, but i got one of your bushcraft knives with the larger guard BUT with the thinner handle. thanks for any help.

gentlemen, let's keep personal jabs offline, ok?

(drawing is to scale proportionally)
[bottom knife is bushmaster.......]

#1 is the first production run - hopefully easy to identify visually
#2 is the current batch (with the exception being that the guard is now a little longer)
#3 is a design - not in production yet
#4 is the bushmaster

the reason i call them v3 is not that it is the 3rd in that pic...but that they are a result of the 3rd run i have made. I did one run of #1 above, one run of #2 above, and one run of #2 above again but with slight modifications.

To date, #3 does not exist...it is still in the concept phase.

d.w13...... The pics above will show you "exactly how much bigger" the guard is on the Buscraft series of Koster knives. If you have a leather sheath it will probably fit any of them. Kydex may or may not work. At least this has been my experience.
Hope this helps.

sorry. Didn't realize.

    ? ? ? ? ? ?

I don't think he was referring to you d.w13.........

Maybe chickenplucker and I ???? ..............

.... but that "exchange" is way over a month old and was settled the same day.

So, beats me....;)

I get red X's on a PC, blue question marks on a Mac.
Are my browsers just too old, or am I?

Are you outside the USA? If so, it may be blocking my website. Try going to www.kosterknives.com to see if it comes up.

Blue question marks might mean that you need to update your browser....

Dan

Yeah, I can see!
Had to switch to a public DNS to find your updated site.
Is that brass corbys and thong holes on the desert ironwood? Nice.
