I want a MOABOLO so bad. I'm definitely in category 2.

Everyone's in this thread looks just amazing.

And Breavis's stripper is insane.

I had a chance to get one at a pretty decent price but wasn't a fan of the handle color. I'm such a dope.

Love the MOABOLO's. I miss my MOAB... If I can ever afford to replace it, it would be a tough call between the MOAB and the MOABOLO.

So what are the options for getting a hold of hand shaped micarta slabs? Buying a knife and swapping the only way?

Until the custom shop opens up...... Sadly yes, although I've had great success with switching and making new handles

Each of us has our preferences, I find the regular slabs to be great-I am not sure I would like G10 handles on her though

+1...I HATE g-10 on choppers! Micarta feels so much nicer for real use. G-10 seems to absorb every micro-tremor when chopping wood. It will be interesting to see how many of us INFI addicts develop ulnar neuropathy in the future lol!

Tricky part is, finding a handle donor that you will be able to swap and release. Not sure if that's possible,,,

I would swap my hand smoothed black micarta slabs on my Moabolo for a set of bruisers if someone was so inclined

Sandpaper, effort and patience can be your friends if you already have machined black canvas.

Nope, mines G10. Don't have a donor yet. Think I may have someone blast it and see if that helps the slipperiness. Or I may just get rid of it,,,
