Well, this is a pattern that is meant to be a Companion type knife. Not too big...not too small. This version is 7 3/8" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. G-11 scales with liner. I prefer the larger versions version but these dimensions were the customer specs.....but then again, I am making 6" and 5" overall neckers so I like the smaller size too :)

Do I name this pattern my C-2 or the Grimlin?

You will see more of this handle pattern with different blade configurations in the future :)

Every Vote counts...
I was thinking Grimlin because, when I gave my little girl her first bath, she SCREAMED like I was killing her......hence Grimlin :)

Wow, I really like that knife. To me it seems very simple, very well thought out. I vote Grimlin.

VERY NICE! I love the simple flowing lines. does it have a sheath yet? Love to see the complete set when completed. Grimlin gets my vote.

Sheath will be started this weekend.....The Necker Prototype in a new post has the same lines :)

Whatever name you give it,I call it SWEEET!!

That's a very nice piece. Clean, flowing, useful, well-though-out. I like it. Love the temper line, too.

how about Goblin since the handles are green?

Grimlin is cool though...or even "THE GRIM!"

I thought about that too :) This shape feels really nice. Now for the sheath.....that may wait till next week :)

I'll vote for Grimlin, 'cause it looks like it could "biteja";) . Preston

These are just - cool!

Looks great Brian. I like both names. G-11? never heard of that material. It is a neat color. Almost like it could glow in the dark.:D

I'm glad someone else asked about G-11. I might have heard it mentioned before, or it might just have been a typo. At any rate, I'd like to know more about it. The colour is growing on me, but I'm still not too sure about it.

I love the design. It's the kind of thing that I would tuck into a high-ride sheath, and carry around everyday. The temper line is simply awesome.:D

I vote for Grimlin. "The Grim" evokes Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I'd lean away from that.

G-11 is close to g-10. Mcmaster carr has a better description but I think its more shock resistant than G-10. Very Hard stuff :)

I really like this knife; it has an elegant functionality to it that doesn't come along every day :) As for a name, of the 2 options, I vote for Grimlin.

are u making more? whats is the price on one of those puppies? what kind of sheath is it? i like C-2 personally great knofe tho!

Sure I am making more. I am pretty far backlooged at the moment but I can get you something if you dont mind the wait. Your PM's are dissabled so I couldnt send you the price info...........

This one had a harizontal style / small of the back sheath made from leather. Pretty handy knife and fun to make :)
