This thread reminds me I meant to mention this to all ya'all. I was in the Cabela's store here Maine and they had a Ironwood 110. I didn't have them pull it out but the one side I could see was exquisite exibition grade ironwood. I was very tempted as the knife is no longer available on their website.

I just looked...surprised it is a varation 9. Figured earlier. That must put it out toward the end... 69/70?

Mine was purchased in late 68 or early 69 according to the records from the owner.

So.......not so old. She is, however, quite graceful, slender and beautiful.......a greyhound compared to the pit bulls that came along a bit later.

The thirds are my favorite.

I got a catalog and Chicom knife from Cabela's. For being a ten year club member. Threw them both in the garbage.
