Here's a new knife I did and I really like the design. It's meant to be a camp/survival type knife. I wanted to share with you outdoor guys and get some feedback on it. Blade is 1/4" thick, 5 3/8" long, 5160 steel, micarta scales. Thanks!

Ray, awesome design for sure. I love mid sized knives that can handle some large knife tasks.

Very nice indeed. I do have one question regarding the pins, why not a third pin since this is a full tang? Surely the grommet cannot provide the same strength as an additional pin. Forgive my ignorance if this sounds like a stupid question. I envy you knife maker guys, lots of talent:thumbup:

The kind of camp knife I like: Carbon steel and micarta. Simple and effective.

Now for the look: sweeeeeeeet.

The handle look a little long to me, but I have small hands.

That looks great, the choice of steel should make a great Camp/Survival knife and the size is just right.
My only question: is the blade a re-curve ? If so I would prefer it to be straight on a knife of that type...JMHO !!!

I like it! That is nice looking blade that looks like it can handle some work. What kind of grind is that?

Thanks for all the comments guys. I apreciate them.

IUKE12, A third pin would actually look kind of nice but the handle isn't coming off. I put holes in the tang and on the inside of the scales for the epoxy to hold on to

Diamond Dog, It's a flat grind with a convex edge.

cybrok, the scales are 5" in length.

tarmix, you're too late bro. I'm sending it to someone else.:D

 Ditto!

Very nice lines and good steel choice. Personally, I like a lil' bit of exposed tang a ala Fallkniven.
