new camping pics, w/ ruck, daba, gw's, fbm.

Looks like you had a great time, Mark!
Glad you got to go out and use all of your gear! :D
Thanks for sharing!

I camp near the North Side of Los Padres, and I too have a plethora of rifles and busses I play with out there. Nice pics.

Thanks for the Pics Mark! Looks like your starting to have more outdoor fun lately:thumbup: Nothing like being in the wild is there.

Looks like you had a great time. It sure is a lot funner using your knives, rather than simply looking at them and fondling them. I use all of my Knives, Surefire flashlights, and Firearms, It's just funner that way. I only got to chop a tree down in the back area of the condo complex where I live today. It was dead so I chopped it down very quickly, maybe one minute tops. It was about 6" in diameter. Also pruned some jasmine vines off the dogwood tree directly out my back window. Looks much nicer now.- Jeff

Awesome Pics! Left behind the SFNO this time? Also, were you hog hunting or just camping?

we were going to do a little hunting, but got lazy and just stayed around the camp.

we took two cases of clays and shotguns, so that was fun. then just shot at logs and rocks and stuff.

I hope you got plenty of shooting in. I can't wait to go back.

lots, and lots, and lots, and lots, of shooting. i fired about 600 pistol rounds, and another 200 shotgun.

also a bunch through my 45-70, and i shot some of my friends rifles too.

my shoulder is still a bit sore, and even my trigger finger was hurting.

i posted some 'after' pics. getting the wood chips out of the coating is a pain. i found using wet/dry fine grit emory paper works well. it removes the wood and debris but doesn't rub off the coating

Nice set of photos..... looks like a nice place to camp.
Thanks for sharing.

My time in the woods this weekend was definitely interesting with the monsoon and cool temps.
