New Case Large Stockman: you can see I really needed this-

The Carhartt stockman looks really cool. They both do actually. I have a Carhartt synthetic bone trapper and love the as ground blade. I'm looking to get a large stockman from Case but I don't know if I want two Carhartt models yet. Is the Buck made in the USA or China?
 
The Buck 307s were made in America by Camillus, and were dropped from the 300 line when Buck started making their own, as I understand it. The 301 is made in America but is smaller. I think 2.75 " main blade as opposed to the 307's 3.25", but I don't have one and that's off the top of my head. 301 will be hollow ground and three-springed, if the top of my head can be relied on.

How does that amber bone hold up? I love stag handles and those amber bone look somewhat like smooth stag. I have been wanting to get the amber bone rancher in a trapper pattern for awhile.
