New Case Purple Jigged Bone Sodbuster Jr has arrived!

I for one would add at least two of those to the collection given the chance! If you have any more inside on that down the line please let me know:D
 
That purple bone looks a lot better than I thought it would when I saw the catalog. The shield on those makes the knife for me. That amber bone is phenomenal though, I would love to have one of those. Case's amber bone is my favorite by far.

Trevytrev have you ever done a post showing off all your soddies? They are a favorite of mine and I would love to see some of your unique ones.

Also, I got the new Case Sodbuster JR in American Workman Blue int eh mail today. A good looker for $23! I'll post pics soon
 
I've never had a Sodbuster of any sort. As soon as I run across the Chestnut CV model I'm buying one. That is going to be one sweet knife, and will match my large trapper and peanut.
 
That is a beautiful knife! Pleasantly surprised to see how much thinner they are. Absolutely have together a chestnut bone cv soddie jr

Is the CCC the Case Collectors Club? What are the odds of being pulled for one of those if your a member?

Been busy the past few days and just had a chance to check these out. Thanks for the link. Some really cool knives you have. I love those spanish versions with the bolsters and wood handles, remind me of the northwoods madison barlow.

I really don't know, but I feel the odds are pretty slim...I was going to mail in a payment via the envelope provided to the CCC members, until I found out that it will be entered in a drawing after March 16th or thereabouts. If you don't get picked, they don't charge your card or cash your check. They're only making 750 of these knives, and some members have multiple entries due to adding family members to the club. I don't gamble, so I will give it a pass; it's not like it's the Soddy Jr of my dreams, which it's far from being.

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll try to throw my hat in the ring to add this to my collection, but I won't hold my breath. The rarity makes me want one that much more:D
