New Case Slimlock

I have yet to handle one. The reviews at the Case forum on the other site are quite mixed, but a) there are some pretty hardcore traditionalists there and b) some issues have arisen about which dealers get to sell the slimlock that have perturbed the masses there, so there may be some negative predisposition.
What is most interesting about the "special" Case knives is the pricing. The olive bone ATS34 knives, while well made, way outstrip the pricing on similar S/Ms. The Case/Bose collaborations, while also excellent in every way are priced closer to Bose product than most Case product. The Slimlock seems to be in a similar vein.
