Salem how did you cut the grooves and how deep were they on that 3/16 "blank" Also what was the final forge thickness and the finished thickness?

The grooves were cut with a 1/8" cutting wheel on an angle grinder, they were about 1/3 through, thickness was around .085" or so after forging flat, finish thickness was .001" at edge with mild convex up to probably .035" or so at the average etched tooth top height. Spine is around .090" near the bolster.
