New Chiruwa Ang Khola. Thank you Himalayan Imports!

I'd be more than happy to do that! If things go the way I want them to this weekend I'll get going on it. I'll also post some pics of my bows tonight if you'd like to see them. Gurkha, if you like what you see send me a pm or e-mail.

And Yandu, thanks again!

Well, it looks like I'm going to be out of town this weekend so here's a bit of bow making for now. Took this one tonight. The CAK had already performed the task of preparing the fire for tonight's meal, and then set to work on that black locust stave I'd started over the weekend.

Please tell me if my images are too big. I'm not used to posting pics here.

This knife is just a pure pleasure to use. I find that there is a sweet pivot point if I choke up near the bolster, and the pommel counter balances allowing me to almost effortlessly (almost! It's still a heavy blade!) remove good sized chips of wood.

And for ease of control; just look at the precise work on this stave so far! Folks, this is a GREAT tool for this! I will do a beginning to end build along using my khukuri as the primary tool. In the meantime, since there has been interest in my bows, I'll post a thread at the Cantina.
