New chopper for this year

Mike, great choice of names. :D You missed Ed. Just left the shop with the buckets and two knives.
I'll have this beast finished tomorrow. Then do some T&E with it. I've got some 2x4's to chop.

Yeah, Scott, Ed told me this evening. Looking forward to seeing both of the newbies. I'll report back after some field use.
 
I'll post pics later tonite of the finished knife. I whacked some treated lumber 2X4's in the shop. It bites in about an inch on the first hit. I had to sweep the shop because of all the wood chips. :D

I got to see this beast in person through a chance meeting with Scott at the grocery store last night. Really impressive beast! It also didn't feel too heavy, but I wasn't chopping down a tree with it!
