New Compact Bushcraft-Type

That looks great! How does it ride?

Very Well for what I personally consider a "big" knife. It's a fuzz heavier than mine but they balance the same. I worked all weekend wearing this one a while back and it was very unobtrusive, even in a car seat.

I really like the blade shape that you chose. It looks like a great all around worker.
I want mine that same shape but 4.25" long and 1/8 inch thick.

This is my own fault for having posted pics of another knife but, which one - the Compact Bushy or Pathfinder?

That is a awesome looking sheath and a nice looking knife there too LOL
Great job Jeff.

Someone asked about a sheath?
OK, the "package" is almost complete. I may add a firesteel loop but I think it will have to be unique - mounted on the front of the sheath. This works as a necker with an adjustable paracord lanyard that adjusts out long enough to use as a Baldric - inverted carry, which is not an issue because the lockup is sweet. Pocket-carry proves to be VERY handy with this size of knife. This thing makes incredible fuzzies - I filled the wood stove with fuzzies tonight because I was having so much fun. They'll be there for the next chilly evening. The ones in this photo are nothing compared to what I made later when I got my hands on some larger sticks.

The flare at the mouth of the sheath allws the knife to be inserted without prying the sheath open with the blade to clear the square front edges of the handles.

This was a tough shot to make!

I played with neck.Baldric-carry but did not upload pics yet. It's very handy. I am thinking about asking Bryan to make another...

Jeff,

Very nice pictures and sheath. That grey sheath looks real good with orange handle knives. Is that a yellow griptillian benchmade in your pocket?
