Anyone get their mitts on one?

They where gone before I knew they even had them.
I am getting one if they come back.

Dang, I have a Fisher Bullet pen and a Cross pen. I need a refill for my pen except I cannot find one at any stores :/

The pen looks really nice. Not wild about the Fisher but I'd probably spring for one if the cap nested on the end. Alternatively they could have even threaded the end and had the cap screw on. Can't understand anyone seriously using a pen whose cap you have to keep up with separately.

I haven't got good stationery stores near me, either. Google the refills and pick a webstore with decent shipping.

Agreed. I like the basic look but I'm not playing find-the-cap games, and I don't like that industrialized-afterthought style of clip. They jacked the price up after the first batch sold out so fast.

I just added one of these to my cart this AM and there was no mention of being out of stock. They seem kind of hard to contact (no phone number) so I'm wondering if these pens are really in stock or not.

Just ordered a pen and a Martac AA flashlight. We'll see. I think I'll get my pen refills from the 'bay. They seem as cheap as most anyone else.

Check out the new CRKT pen designed by Elishewitz, the Tao. Cap fits on the end, MUCH better clip, Fisher refill also. When they hit the market, I will be in line waiting.

Those are nice. I'll have to get one of those to. First it was vintage safety razors, then fountain pens, knives and now tactical pens. I wonder if this will ever end. Good thing I'm single and no kids.

I wish someone would make a retractable "tactical" pen. I usually have enough SD tools on me so I dont think a pen would make a huge difference but you never know and it would be nice on a plane or something

That's the only reason to own one IMO. I don't think it's a coincidence that the tactical pen appeared in the marketplace only after 9/11.

I used to fly with a Spyderco G10 Rookie. I dropped it in the tray and nobody ever blinked an eye. Now I fly with a space pen and a wooden thingie I cooked up in the garage. Progress, huh? They have PETN in their shorts and we have things you write with.

Makes perfect sense.

theyre back in stock. if they didn't get sold out again. mine got shipped out today, should be here the 25. looking forward to it.

Are "tactical" pens approved and completely okay to carry on airlines? I'd hate to spend a decent amount of money on one only to have the TSA take it away from me.

Tactical anything becomes known to law enforcement before it becomes known to most of us. Yes, you could see it taken away. Tac pens, kubotans, all of it.

On the other hand, an ordinary metal pen without grooves and flanges, or a mini maglight in lieu of a kubotan, will fly just fine.
