New CR Knives..

It's nice. Tip-up clip carry like the Sebenza? I imagined something beefier. What are the dimensions including blade thickness?

Micarta or G10 handles I'm guessing?

Either way looks good to me.

I can't really tell what the handles are made out of..are they black titanium? They almost look like zytel :p
 
Handle: 7076 T-6 alloy (much harder than common in knives 6061)
Lock: titanium (of course)
Blade: 5" S30V
 
Received the following message from CR knives today:

We are planning on releasing a new folder & fixed blade before the end of this year and another fixed blade shortly there after. The folder shown on the DVD is a new project Bill Harsey is working on. It is not the folder we are speaking of. I can not tell you anything more about the new knives only to keep your eye on our web sight for future announcements.

Damn, time to start saving those pennies. Another great year for knives.
 
I thought long and hard (at least 5 seconds) about whether to pass on this exciting news as I know only too well that I'll regret it when I am Number 3,451 on the waiting list for whatever the new CR knives will be called.

BUT....just thought I would share the anticipation!!!!!!!!!! :)

You know, the beautiful thing is that when these start going into production the wait time really won't be that long. Now though if you start talking about special additions and Damascus blades......which of course you know I'LL be doing....:rolleyes: :D
