Okay, Here is goes................The CRK Gods finally delivered a long sought after CRK Grail..... I FFFIIINNNAAALLLYYY was able to acquire a Genuine P Sebenza. I say genuine because I have easily had aprox. 30+ sebenza go through my paws and have always missed out on one of these. One that has not been messed with. It was a service man's and has been all over the world. Iraq, Somalia; just to name a few. Now its here, safe with me.
I have wanted one of these for so long, but sometimes the sky high prices kept me from getting one. The closest I have come was my small P Style sebenza I have listed for sale. Its basically the same, only has the clip and no "P" stamping.
When I got this, I thought it was a small from the pics, but after looking and comparing the pics to the small P-Style I have, I thought might actually be a Large P Sebenza. When I got the package, I could not find my small sebenza classic to open the box, so I just grabbed my leatherman wave. ( I always make it a practice to open a new CRK with another CRK.... )
So here are the pics. You will see its in amazing shape. The blade has a few dings, but will sharpen out on the sharpmaker after a couple sharpenings. The handles have the buttery smooth used Titanium feel. You just cant truly describe that. Lock-up is in the 70-80% range I would say, which is amazing for a sebenza this old. Zero blade play in any direction and the blade is centered. I absolutely Love the Blocky feel of it. Kinda like the old Buck 110's ( Its more squared off, while the newer styles are all rounded ). Blade has lots of fingerprints from me. No spa for this baby, just a good bath.
