New CRK Interview

Thanks for the link. I actually met Tim Reeve last month at the California Custom Knife show. He seemed like his old man taught him a lot. I feel the company is in good hands. And for what it's worth, I read somewhere that Chris is still involved as a consultant.

The interview is great, but it is sad to see Chris not a part of it. Everything changes and moves on in life. But the company looks to be in good hands. Personally, I feel nothing made today will ever match the Old Regular Sebenza design.

It's funny, because I have a large Regular, and feel the ergonomics were a serious mis-step that Chris Reeve recovered from when he went basically back to his previous design with the Classic, and later the 21. I like the Regular blade shape, and it looks sexy, but those "traction scallops" make absolutely no sense to me, and just plain bug my hand. I don't understand the concept I guess, so my collection of regulars has stalled at one copy. I keep trying to like the design, mainly because you, nyefmaker, always say it was his high point, and I respect your opinion.

Just goes to show it's different strokes for different folks. I believe there is a chance that the Inkosi may come to rule them all, but I gotta get one in hand first!

They didn't say much; it's a fluff piece.

Anyone know what Chris Reeve does now? Will there be a return of customs from Chris? Can he work with GEC on a modern slipjoint or with Protech on an auto :)

I think you need to get with the Admins and see if you can change your forum name to "Debbie Downer":)
