New CRK On-line Store (Coming)

I recently put my hands on a few Spartan models. I was thinking of a Difensa. They are not bad at all, but they are not $200 better than a CRK, at all. At all. If the Difensa was the same price as the Pacific I sold, I would have got it. But at $495. Pass. It's a great user, but not an amazing piece of craftsmanship the CRK stuff is.

Except one thing. You void your warranty if you disassemble the knife. That was the deal breaker for me.

Maybe an online store would let me order a Pacific without serrations. ;)

No?

Darn.

I've been waiting for at least five years to be able to buy either a Pacific or a Green Beret without serrations. I can keep waiting. Hey, maybe someday CRK will figure this out and offer some kind of a fixed blade in the 5" - 7" range without serrations. A guy can always dream.

What about the Umkhombe? I think it's a little under 5 inches (I'm not positive) but it's at least close I think. Or is that no longer available? It isn't available in the US through dealers, but my understanding is you can order it straight through CRK.

That seems to have been a limited edition knife that was available last year. It isn't even mentioned on CRK's website anymore.

It looks interesting, though.

I have a Umkhombe and ordered it directly from CRK as soon as they came out. It's a German dealer exclusive, but for US customers you can get it from CRK only. Great Knife. I haven't used mine yet though.

Hmmmmm . . . still waiting. Wonder how long "Coming Soon" really is!! I know it doesn't really matter . . .

Since it's under accessories I expect it will be lanyards, screws, clips, spacers, etc....

Firefox is blocking the store for me saying they have an invalid security certificate. Anyone else having issues? Wanted to look at some parts.

No problems here using FF and inside a corporate firewall. Suggest you clear out all old cookies and browsing history.

That all clears every time I close my browser, and I just booted up today. I can try again I suppose.

Getting a 404 and/or certificate issues on my iphone also. Definitely not my issue.

Loads up fine on my MBP and iPhone 6, I run Safari though.

I can access the CRK website without a problem, it is only the store that I'm having issues with on three separate devices.

If I click the "shop" tab at the top of the home page, the page doesn't exist. If I use the "buy accessories, apparel, parts" tabs at the bottom of the home page I get invalid certificates on my laptop with FF, Iphone, and Ipad with Safari. The certificate showed to be issued to a treasurevalleycoffee coffee company out of Idaho.

EDIT: If I continue past the warning, I still get a 404 error. The page has got to be down.

My cookies, caches, history etc. get cleared on all my devices every time I close my browsers. Are you sure you guys aren't seeing cached versions?

It's not that big of a deal, I can try again another time, but it's weird.

The site was completely down yesterday..

They are working on it.

CRK on line store for knife sales? ... i seriously doubt it ... i don't think CRK would charge someones credit card 6 months before a knife was ready to ship
