Looks great! :)

I have a Lg 21 with micarta inlays. I'm not sure if I would like it without the inlays. Truth be told I really like my Regular profile Sebenza. I know which one I would pick if it came down to it but at the same time I don't completely dislike the newer profiles.

Wow, nothing special? To me, that is a very, "special'' knife. I really like all of the subtle differences and the not so subtle blade profile. What a great acquisition and even more significant in the timing of it. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice man! I almost ended up with one of these about a month ago but fate would not allow.

That's one sweet knife! Sorry to hear about you and your wife losing your jobs.

Thanks for the kind words....She has been there 22 years and I will be there 9 years. We met there and after dating a few years got married, so I have the company to thank for that, She is the Greatest. They just made poor decisions and lost their biggest contract. She is being let go August 2, I will be there until they close the doors. Though I am looking elsewhere before that happens. 1200 people will be out of a job when they do. The local economy is going to get crushed when it happens.

The knife is great. I cant wait for my dog paw lanyard to get here. Will surely post pics with a cleaned up "P"less sebbie when it arrives. Have a Great and Safe Holiday Weekend !

That's a sweet little knife "Tom"

My wife & I were laid off at the same time about 15 month's ago
I had to hide all the knives & guns, We were ready to kill each other
That lasted for 7 weeks & she was called back to work, Im still unemployed
I have worked for 42 years with no missed time, 29 at my last job
In September I'll be 62 & Im taking my social security, The hell with it
Down the road I'll find something part time, My wife leaves at 7:00 a/m
And comes home at 7:00 p/m. It's me, the 2 dogs & the computer all day
After being married for 36 years I finally found the right way to do it
Back in 1980 we both worked together and the place closed also

That is a great find, old Sebenza's are hard to locate. The thumb stud is cool. Why don't you send it back to the factory for a overhaul? Sorry to hear about the jobs, that is tough to take when you lose two at once.

That's a well-loved-looking Seb. Good to hear it'll get plenty more years of use.

Here's to hoping you and your Wife find another job soon. Sorry to hear that. Best to you both.

Professor.

Way cool! It's not at all in the same class, but I found a BG-42 small regular LH (which suits me) earlier this year. It's totally great and totally fun. I know you're going to enjoy it. Many sympathies on the plant closing. :(

I looked it over and have decided to send the "P" less sebbie in to the CRK SPA. I feel she deserves it !!! I want to keep it as original as possible, so I am pretty much just getting the handle blasted over and a good cleaning. I love the old style thumb stud. I looked everywhere thinking I had 2 of the straight clips, but I only have the one on my BG-42 sebenza, and its staying there. I thought I had one on my NICA Tanto, but I dont. I probably traded it off on a small sebbie I had once, cant remember...lol. Hopefully I can ship it off tomorrow morning. I cant wait to get it back already as I got my small dog paws lanyard from Plaza this week and am going to put it on the small "P" less sebbie. ...........I will be sure to post pics when she is all cleaned up and back from the spa !!!

Good call on the refurb. That's what I'd do. I understand your sentiment about construction of the knife, too. When you hold an older Seb in your hands, you can really feel the quality of the piece. Nothing against the current stock, but I just feel that those "P" generation Sebenza's, and the early Regulars, have more character and substance than the newer productions. The action on all of my older ones is uniformly amazing.

My sympathies on your family's job situation. I have no idea how I would face a similar circumstance, and really hope the best for you two.

Man that's a beaut' of a knife. The handle's almost as beat looking as mine, and I love every mark on it. Still, can't wait to see yours post-blasting though.

Congratulations on a hell of a lucky find. Enjoy it.
