New Crkt Knives

I especially like the Pharaoh, Dogfish and M4.

Not bad.

I also like the Brow Tine™ Hunter. Has a more classical look to it.

Groetness aan almal en mag die Here ons almal seen.
Marthinus

I like many of the new designs. I just wish there wasn't such a recent trend among manufacturers towards adding assisted-opening mechanisms to knives. I suppose gimmicks sell well with the masses. :(

I'm really digging the Zilla-Tool, Pharaoh, and M4. I like the Mini My Tighe too, but not the 1.4116 steel...rather they used AUS-8 on that one.

Question - What's a button lock?

I've got a custom Raider, same handle as the Triumph just has the Kasper blade shape, coming at the first of March and it will have the .100" liners per my request. I'll definately have to have the Triumph. Those will be the thickest liners CRKT has ever used on a liner-lock folder. The Hissatsu is also a must have! Looks like CRKT may have some good things this year, and the two I want have AUS8 blade steel and none of that AUS4 or 420J2!!

Read closely. From what I saw everyone that has assisted opening is also available without or is made so it can be disengaged. Gimmick? I'd have to disagree but it's not a big deal.

I'm interested in the "triumph" fixed, but the steel used in that knive makes me wonder if I should buy it or not. 3cr13 I've never heard of it. Low HRC. Anyone know how it performs?

I like:

Crawford Triumph Neck (probably gonna buy)

C/K Dragon for the razorsharp blade,

M16® Zytel EDC Tanto Black.

Mini My Tighe™. (maybe buy)

I really like the way the serrated blades looks like too

Edit: yes, what is that steel ? does the Carbon V is better ?

I found this "tainless steel pipe such as 1Cr13(410),2Cr13(420J),3Cr13,4Cr13;"

So It looks like 440 maybe.
