I just received an e-mail from Carrie Trujillo at CRKT that they will be releasing a version of Brian Tighe's "Tighe Tac" knife.

Unfortunately, Carrie Trujillo said the release date is set sometime before April 2001. Let's hope it's way before!
 
What are the specs on the knife? Tanto or drop point? Length of blade? Materials used?
 
Spear point, stainless steel bolsters and Zytel handle scales. Blade is satin finish AUS6M and has stainless liners and stainless pocket clip. As always with CRKT, 2 sizes will be available. Model 8101 & 8111 2.56" cutting edge w/ 3.38" handle. Model 8102 & 8112 3.00" cutting edge w/ 4.13" handle. Not bad for a suggested retail of $64.95 and $69.95 respectively.
 
I first saw this knife on James Mattis' pics from the blade show. It looks sooo sweeeeet!!

It's funny, CRKT are starting to outnumber my Benchmades in my knife collection.

I offered CRKT my services as Beta tester for this model...hey, ya gotta ask or offer right?
