I know some of you have had some bad luck with Botach, but for $99, for a new CS Recon Scout is to good to be true. I just had to share this with you guys. Take a look.

When I buy stuff from them I alway make sure to give them specific instructions so they don't screw up my order. Just a suggestion.

I can only suggest anyone who isn't already familiar with the comments on Botach that have been posted should click on "search" at the top of the page. You'll find 11 threads, with such titles as Botach.com WARNING!!, Botach Tactical: Good Prices, Bad Service, Botach Bites! etc.

Too good to be true? Don't ask me ... all I know is what I read on the forum ... and you can read that for yourself and make up your own mind.

Maybe so. But I have ordered so far, with no problems, a Recon Scout, CS Shovel, Kukri Light, Mini Kukri, and an LTC. The LTC was back ordered and their customer service called me at my house and said it would be back ordered for 3 weeks. They had charged me but, then credited back my card. I just ordered a Bad Ax.

When I bought the Recon Scout, it was $105.00 on sale and now its $99.00 on sale.

My main goal was to share this info with some people out there.

Remember the old saying - if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. If you willfully enter into a deal with others that you KNOW have a poor history of customer service, please do not come back here later complaining about your problems with them. Caveat Emptor.

All I can say is that I've placed a half dozen orders with them and had no problems whatsoever. One time they called to tell me one item was out of stock and would be in within a week. I told them to hold the whole order and ship it together which they did the following week when the back ordered item arrived. Considering their prices and the service I've received, I'll continue to use them till I have a problem.
