New Custom Camp Knife

I just finished a custom camp knife for a customer. It is a customized version of one of our standard models (model JK-16). The customer who ordered it has owned 2 model 16's prior to this one and he keeps modifying the design to his liking. So far he has come up with some great ideas.

Anyway, here are the specs.
blade length - 8" flat ground
oal - 13-1/2"
steel - .200" D2 @ 58 Rc
heat treat by Paul Bos (who else did you expect?)
handle - canvas micarta
hand rubbed finish

Barry, I was going to ask where you have been hiding, but it looks as if you have been working hard. Good looking knife! I imagin that it would work even better than it looks.

I have been working on your drop point. I have also been working on quite a few other knives. Mostly new designs. The folder drawing that you saw is only one of several I have been working on. I have also been developing some new fixed blades.

And once again, another failed attempt to obtain my George Herron hunter.
