New Custom Shop Choices

Looks like the Buck Custom shop added some choices to the 110 line.
New to the site is two versions of 154. Looks like a slight price increase also.
It seems it's time for a 154 to go into my collection...:D
 
...LMBO...Looks like 'dem ol' prices we saw earlier when da tar and fedders was gettin' warmed up is on da way back...LOL...Looks like ram's horn more than doubled too...and don't ferget, those CS 112's are the same price as the 110's...:p

I'm still waiting on an order I placed for a damascus blade 110 with ram horn scales. I spoke with Pete and he confirmed that I will still get it at the old price with the 15% discount so I'm happy. :) I have no idea when the next one will come along given the new prices. :(
 
Very interesting!!! I don't see any up-dates to the CS??? Same prices and no 154 in the 110 section. Did it get changed back or was this all BS?

...I just looked in there John...I see the 154 steels and the hiked up handle material prices...Weird huh?...:confused:

Were you in there lately??? Clear your browser cache...the browser loads from your cache before checking the web site...(unless you specify it to check at xxx interval)... :)
 
i dont like it either :( ...
but i was at the hard ware store and seen that the price of a lawn mower blade went up from early this summer by over 5$ ! 11$ to over 16$

what kills me is that the bail outs and the CEO's have job securitery with 10 mil bonesses the day they dont have a job!
BTW that new chrome browser has no issue with the custom shop loading!!!

10Mil? That would have insulted my companies previous CEO. He was handed 30Mil to leave!
I'm not sure if I want to use my new Rammie or not now. Maybe I just won't do any hacking...just careful slicing.

Yep....Weird,

After reading this thread I went into the buck site about 10 times. Each time it was just as it has been:confused:. I even turned off the computer and restarted...no change. I just did that again....and now I see the new changes...and new prices:o:(:rolleyes:. I'm glad I put in my order last week;).

...Yep...That "hiccup" we saw when the prices were lowered was just that...It's why I'm getting back into handguns...Cheaper...LMAO...:p:D

Ok Doc,

What make and model are you going to buy???

I need to ask this group a question. When I buy from the CS or the Buck factory store..."there in Idaho"; I have to pay CA state tax??? How many of you who do not live in Idaho have to pay state tax when you buy from the Buck plant? I do a lot of on-line buying and this is the only out of state company that is hiting me with tax...Why?

Wow...here we go again,

The options just went 2x in price. I placed an order last week for two 112's for a total of 382.00 + 28.65tax=410.65; with the new price it would be 644.00 + 48.30=692.30. If they mess up and charge me the new price as they have done to many here the last time they increased the pricing....I'll reverse my payment and ship the knives back. End of story and at these new prices this will be my last CS order.

I have not bought a new gun for a long time. Maybe it's time to go back to shooting for a while ;).

Has anyone talked to Pete about these new prices? I'm glad to see the addition of 154CM or was it CPM154. But I noted that all the prices on handle material and blades doubled. This price doubling seems arbitrary...like a site administration issue/error. Usually, lower prices items will increase at higher percentages. Paua (sp) going up to $900 from $450 make little sense as inflationary pressures are incremental.

I was going to put in for another 2 cs 112s (FG Ram and FG Jigged Buff), but if these new prices are what CJ intends them to be, then thats probably not going to happen.

Maybe there is a secret plan to put the custom shop out of business.:thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn:
